Coleen McLoughlin was born in Liverpool in 1986, and became a household
name when she became engaged to England football star Wayne Rooney. They
live in Cheshire and her new book, Welcome To My World, is out now in
hardcover:
WHATS YOUR DREAM SATURDAY NIGHT?
Id go to a concert in Manchester. Then go out to dinner or a club
afterwards.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET READY FOR IT?
Id have a bath, go to the hairdressers in the day and just get
pampered. If Im going out with mates, theyll come round and well all
get ready together.
IF YOU COULD MAKE ONE LAW FOR SATURDAY NIGHTS, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
To make sure you always have transport home.
WHATS THE BEST SATURDAY NIGHT OUT YOUVE EVER HAD?
We went to see Kylie the other week, which was really good. I went with
Wayne and a few of his friends and their girlfriends, then we had dinner
afterwards and went to a club. We had a really good night.
AND THE WORST?
Its probably when I havent made it out. Ill have planned a night and
then have been sick or something. My friends would have been out and
phoned me telling me what a good night it was. I hate hearing about
nights Ive missed.
WHO WOULD YOU MOST LIKE TO SPEND YOUR WEEKEND WITH?
Friends and family.
DO YOU LIVE FOR THE WEEKEND AND FREE TIME?
No, I make the most of every day.
WHAT SORT OF A SUNDAY PERSON ARE YOU?
I sometimes go to church, though I dont go as much as Id like to.
Then I like a nice Sunday roast. I love my mums, but I like going out
for one as well, or down the pub with my family and Wayne. Sundays are
always a family day, so its nice to see them and go for a day out. I
also like watching EastEnders. Sometimes on a Sunday night I like to put
a film on.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE HANGOVERS?
Ill drink plenty of water, take an aspirin and have junk food or a
roast.
WHICH CITY IS THE BEST FOR NIGHTLIFE AND WHY?
I love Liverpool. I live in Cheshire, but I love to go back for a night
out with the girls. I spent New Years Eve there and it was great fun.
WHAT DID YOU GET UP TO LAST WEEKEND AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS WEEKEND?
Last weekend I didnt do much. It was pretty quiet.
This Saturday I might go to a friends house or go to the local pub.
Usually Saturday after the match Ill spend with Wayne, or we might go
out for dinner. Then Sunday will probably be a family day.
